Rod's Taxi was founded in 2009 by Rod Malone, a fifth-generation native of the charming fishing village of Howth, Co. Dublin. With deep roots in the Howth community, where his family still resides, Rod brings a lifetime of local knowledge and a passion for sharing Ireland’s beauty with travelers.

After a successful career in the corporate world, Rod made a bold decision to pursue his dream of showcasing Ireland’s rich heritage and natural splendor. Drawing on his extensive knowledge of Dublin and the wider Irish landscape, Rod specializes in private guided tours across Dublin, the iconic Ring of Kerry, the rugged Wild Atlantic Way, and many other breathtaking regions of the Emerald Isle.
